Tony Trischka's, "Of a Winter's Night" on Friday, December 15

Tony Trischka’s, "Of a Winter's Night," is a banjo-driven celebration of the season. The music of this holiday concert is “always excellent, full of fine surprises and memorable moments” -The New York Times

Based on his critically acclaimed Rounder Records release, Tony turns his considerable melodic inventiveness loose on Bluegrass and Americana music for the holidays.

With the backing of his band of extraordinary musicians, Tony Trischka is joined by shape-note singer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Eriksen, vocalist and fiddler, Zoe Darrow, Jared Engel on bass and Sean Trischka, percussion, Dominic Leslie, mandolin and Phoebe Hunt, singer/songwriter. A diverse, highly textural seasonal collection, Trischka also revels in songs long forgotten and little known. Truly a sumptuous feast for the ears presented as only Tony Trischka can.

A “celebration of Americana, sometimes lively, sometimes stately,” -Washington Post

We are located on New York's Upper West Side. For details and reservations please contact Sandy at Sandilion49@gmail.com.
