Nick Depuy, having just graduated from American University majoring in music and literary studies, is an evocative and haunting singer-songwriter-guitarist. Nick boasts a unique sound that is rooted in old time folk, jazz, rock and blues. But his influences do not define him, as he puts his own stamp on rock, pop, and hip-hop in the songs that he writes and sings. Nick was first mentored by the late Paul Leka, the songwriter who co-wrote Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye and discovered Harry Chapin and Dan Fogelberg. Nick has since opened for hall of fame songwriter Jimmy Webb, Neil Finn of Crowded House, acclaimed trumpet player Kermit Ruffins, Procol Harum, and ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro. Nick also has his first EP "Right on Time" available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. His new album, "Don't Be Sorry," will be released in May of this year.
